About
Abdullah FarragTechnology, Business & Engineering
Connecting business vision with engineering excellence.
I operate at the intersection of executive leadership, strategic business development and integrated engineering — bringing together commercial vision, technical expertise and multidisciplinary coordination to shape complex technology and infrastructure projects.

01Executive biography
A career built where business, engineering and technology meet.
Abdullah Farrag works across the companies of AMG Services & Solutions Holding in Saudi Arabia, with a mandate that spans business development, technical consultancy, engineering design leadership and ICT. His career began in carrier-grade enterprise networking at Telecom Egypt and has grown into a group-level role reporting to the CEO — one that connects the commercial opportunity with the engineering that delivers it.

Executive & group-level leadership
Since December 2019 his responsibilities have extended across the group companies — Bashaer Al-Benaa Contracting, Power Source, Smart Line and Volterra Arabia Solutions. He leads the group's ICT function, coordinates opportunities and capabilities between companies, and reports directly to the CEO, joining commercial and technical functions into one line of sight.
- Group-wide ICT responsibility
- Cross-company coordination
- Executive reporting to the CEO
- Strategic technology direction
- B
Strategic business development
He identifies and acquires projects for the group's companies in Saudi Arabia and international markets — from the first conversation to prequalification, technical and commercial proposals, and negotiation support. He originated and led the HUMAIN RFP0155 bid, prepares sales plans with pipeline and close rates, and has opened new markets in the Central Region.
- Project acquisition
- Strategic tenders
- Technical & commercial proposals
- Client consultancy
- C
Engineering & technical leadership
He leads the integrated design process for data centers designed to Tier III requirements, from 0.5 to 5 MW, and for comprehensive smart city design — coordinating electrical, mechanical, ICT, ELV and security disciplines so the facility works as one system. His role is design leadership, coordination, technical review and participation in approvals; detailed engineering calculations and statutory approvals rest with the specialist engineers of each discipline.
- Tier III data center design, 0.5–5 MW
- Multidisciplinary coordination
- Mission-critical infrastructure
- Smart cities

ICT & digital transformation
His technical foundation is enterprise networking — MPLS VPN, BGP, OSPF and EIGRP — backed by Cisco CCNP Enterprise. Today it extends to cybersecurity, digital infrastructure and enterprise platforms: he is leading the evolution of the AMG corporate portal into an enterprise ERP, is the architect and developer of the Power Source and Knooz Market platforms, and led the build of the Smart Line store.

Strategic business perspective
What connects these dimensions is one habit: start from the business objective, then make the engineering serve it. He reads the commercial opportunity, evaluates the technical requirements, brings the right specialist teams together and shapes an integrated solution that is technically sound and commercially viable.
- Understand the opportunity
- Evaluate the requirements
- Coordinate the specialists
- Integrate the solution

03Leadership philosophy
How I think. How I lead. How I deliver.
- 01
Business before technology
Technology must solve a real business problem and create measurable operational or commercial value.
- 02
Integrated thinking
Complex engineering projects need coordination across disciplines — not isolated technical solutions.
- 03
Strategic execution
An opportunity only becomes valuable when it is translated into a realistic, technically sound and commercially viable project.
- 04
Accountability
Credibility comes from transparency, clear commitments and responsibility for the outcome — not just the proposal.
- 05
Collaboration & leadership
Strong results emerge when commercial, technical and operational teams work toward one integrated objective.
- 06
Long-term vision
Infrastructure and technology must be designed for reliability on day one — and for scalability and future development.
04Group-wide context
Four companies, one integrated capability
The group combines a Grade 1 building contractor, two ICT, ELV and power integrators and a metal and wood manufacturer. Together they can take a project from construction and fit-out to MEP, ICT, low-current systems and joinery — which is where group-wide coordination creates value: matching each opportunity to the company best placed to deliver it, and combining capabilities into integrated engineering, technology and commercial solutions.
My role is a group-level mandate across these companies. It does not imply ownership, board membership or a legal executive appointment.
